Clean & Simple Card making - Day 1

Hi again,

I always wanted to try the clean and simple style, but was a bit afraid that my cards would look empty. But Jennifer McGuire and Kristina Werner teamed up with Julie Ebersole to give us a new class at Online Card Classes, so it was the perfect opportunity for me to learn with those amazing ladies!

I already took two classes with them and it was so intersting that when I saw they were making a CAS class, I signed up right away... The classes are really great, with PDFs and videos that you can download, a forum where they answer all your questions and also a lifetime access, so even if you don't have the time now, you can go later!

Today is the first day and I made this card following Kristina's tutorial.

I used Hero Arts note card in Light blue, and I stamped the Hero Arts Flower Dot Background with soft stone shadow ink. I used a sentiment I had in my stash (don't remeber where I got it) and I heat embossed it.

So what do you think?

Happy birthday

Good morning,

Long time no see, but I have a good excuse ;-)
I was pregnant and I had to stay in the couch most of the time, so no craft for a long time :-( but it worth it, I now have the most beautiful baby in the world by my side ^^
I'll do a blog candy to celebrate that, I'll post about it later this week.

Anyway, I did make a card for my cousin's birthday.
I used this sweet Tilda for the first time, even though she's in my stash for quite a while now... so many uninked stamps are waiting for me...
I also tried to color with Prisma pencils. I never used this technique before and there's sill a lot to learn, but it's not as difficult as I thought.

I made a pocket card using Gio's tutorial at WoJ nspiration blog.

I'm entering some challenges :

Vintage framed photos

Hi there,

Today I want to show you a canvas I made during a class taugh by Anna.
This is a shabby vintage style. I'm not used to do that kind of thing, because I always think I won't be able to make something so beautiful. In the end, it wasn't so difficult and I really like it ^^
It's a lot more shinny and has a lot of glitter in real life...

I'm entering this week's Simon Says Stamp and Show challenge which is Anything goes.

Thanks for stopping by,

Summer Fairy

Good morning everyone,

For today’s card, I used the color combo of the fourth week of the Summer Card Camp.

These colors make me think of summer (even though the weather is awful here) and so I took a digi I bought a while ago from The greeting farm which is called Summer Fairy.

I used the sketch from sketch Saturday and I’m also entering the Stampin’ for the weekend challenge which is Wings and Things.

Please leave me a comment so I can go and see your work too,

Summer Card Camp Week 3

Good morning everyone,

Finally I’m back !!!
Well, I hope so, this first semester has been so ectic…

Anyway, this is the third week of the summer card camp and I finally find the time to make a card!

I’m enjoying the camp so far, lots of great techniques and so many inspirational cards!
For today’s card, I took my inspiration from this one.

I'm also entering my card in this week's Simon Says Stamp Challenge which is 'Anything goes'

This is quite different from what I’m used to do, but I'm quite pleased with the result. I think I may do more of them as it is so much quicker ^^

One last Christmas card

Good morning peeps,

I hope you all had a good start in this new year.
I had a super nice first week! Even if the snow wasn't really good for skiing, the weather was mainly great and we had a lot of fun!

I still have one Christmas project I didn't show you yet. This is my first project with a Kenny K image. I have a few images, but I didn't find the time yet to use them... I'm ashamed ^^
Anyway, this one was colored with my copics and I put some flower soft for the fur. Isn't she sexy?
I didn't had any dark blue christmassy paper, so I made it myself with my distress inks, white stazon and sparkle stamp wheel for SU. I was quite please with the end result.

The frame is made by Xtina

I made the box folling this tutorial at stempel ein maleins.
